15 Years of Making Life Happen

 

For 14 summers, Serve Camp has existed to inspire and empower young people to make life happen. What started as a simple idea with 17 teenagers has become an incredible movement impacting thousands. 

 

This isn’t a typical summer camp. Serve Camp is a unique, hands-on experience where young people can discover for themselves the power of love to bring life. It’s a camp that inspires and challenges young people to live life as servant leaders. To choose giving over getting. To choose sacrifice over entertainment. To choose love over selfishness. It’s a camp driven by the life & message of Jesus who invites the world to join Him in making life happen!

What makes Serve Camp different

Love Projects

Serve Camp is built around love projects. Love projects are community service projects designed to meet the needs of a person, family, community, and/or organizations helping others. Through a variety of love projects, young people are exposed to the power of finding common ground with people and loving them at their point of need.

Making Life Happen

Like Jesus, you could say we have a ridiculous passion to make the lives of people and our communities better. Young people learn through experience that absolute humility (self-denial) leads to absolute love, which produces immeasurable life. Serve Camp isn’t about “I”, it’s about others.

Hands-On Purpose

Young people don’t just learn about humility, compassion, and service; they experience it. Our campers will serve real people, be exposed to real problems, and see the impact of their love in our community.

Empowerment

We have seen how young people’s first hand experience with the power of love to make life happen has changed and inspired them to live and think differently about themselves, others, and their life. It’s about being inspired and empowered to dream of a life as life-making servant leaders.This is why we say, Serve Camp is the best, most life-giving camp.
